Liz Nagy
Liz Nagy, who joined ABC 7 Chicago as a per diem reporter in March 2016, was promoted to staff general assignment reporter in December 2016. Since joining WLS, Nagy has traveled to cover stories like hurricanes Harvey and Florence, as well as fallout from police shootings in Milwaukee and Baton Rouge.

Former Vice President and News Director Jennifer Graves commented at the time, "In the short time she's been with us, Liz has proven to be a very talented, aggressive reporter who knows how to get to the heart of the story. She's a tenacious go-getter in the field and a welcome addition to our reporting staff."

Nagy also reports with the ABC7 Chicago I-Team.

Prior to coming to ABC 7, Nagy was a general assignment reporter at WSVN-TV in Miami, where she was one of the station's go-to nightside reporters. She covered many different breaking news stories and reported on topics of the day, including same-sex marriage arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court. Nagy also filled in on the anchor desk at WSVN. Before joining WSVN in 2011, Nagy launched a weekend morning newscast at WEAR-TV, the ABC affiliate in Pensacola, Florida. She also reported for WEAR, covering breaking news, crime and the 2010 BP oil spill.

Nagy also worked at WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia as weekend morning anchor/reporter. She got her start in television at WEIU-TV in Charleston, Illinois.

Nagy helped raise money in the fight against breast cancer when she participated in "Dancing with Chicago Celebrities."

Nagy has a bachelor's degree in broadcast communications from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. She's a native of suburban Philadelphia. Nagy lives in Chicago.
